For a roof leak or to re do seams on a MH Roof I can recomend "Eternabond" tape.I used it on two jamboree MHs and it worked grate. Its a bit pricy but well worth the money.See link below.
Rotted camper flooring. Anyone have experiences with replacement? We looked at a 1969 model yesterday and it's floor is kind of spongy.
This is an old thread but those on RV forums recommend you run as fast as possible away from any RV with a rotten floor or leaking roof. Both are expensive to fix and damage may extend to the walls as well.
I am in the process of fixing a section of rotted floor in our 5th wheel. I am replacing the rotted OSB with treated 3/4 plywood. I cut the offending section out with a sawzall. I m also replacing the rotted 2x2. I will use deck screws to secure to the solid wood. Replace the insulation and then screw down the the plywood. We will put new wood grain vinyl flooring to dress up the floor. I will try to get some pictures in.
