To be honest, the Bills have a lot of competition for fans in Rochester. Lots of Giants, Patriots and Steelers fans. If the Bills would regionalize, I'm sure they could pick up more fans throughout upstate
Yeah, makes sense. I know a decent number of people in Niagara Falls who don't cheer for the Bills
I was just about to head to Barnes & Noble, and I think this thread has inspired me to take a look at county exec Poloncarz's book on negotiating the current Bills' stadium lease, lol.
Can you post a little bit of this article? It hits a complete paywall.
Apparently there's an old family cemetery there. They had to move the orientation of the stadium to allow for it. That caused the wind tunnel effect that caused many problems. They talked about the curse of the playoff drought, losing 4 SB's, "wide right", OJ, It was mostly a humorous article, but some of it could be true. There was nothing about ghost sightings or slamming doors, etc. Mostly just the curse of having a losing team for so long.
^Thanks…Now I’m wondering what made them pick that location? To think the first approved stadium idea was a domed stadium in Lancaster, but because they didn’t want it too close to Lancaster HS, they scrapped it.
The Pegulas want a new stadium, let THEM pay for it. After all, who retains the profits that are derived from operating the team?
Ever see a POOR sports team owner??????
Didn't Jerry Jones pay for his new stadium. I've noticed his net worth has doubled.
