Blew a 3 run lead but came back to win in extra innings for their only win of the week. With the White Sox winning 6 of their last 10 games, and the Rockies winning 3 straight games the Marlins are now owners of the worst record in baseball. 3 game series in Detroit to begin the week, and than 3 at home against the Mets. Tigers have lost their last 3 series, and the Mets have lost the first 2 games to the Braves after sweeping the Cardinals. Phillies are in first, Braves are 1.5 back, Nats are 8 back, Mets are 8.5 back, and the Marlins are 17.5 back.

They lost the first game in Detroit, and lost the last game vs. the Mets, but in between won 4 straight games highlighted by back to back shut outs of the Tigers, and coming back from deficits of 7-2 and 9-5 to win in extras against the Mets. 6 games this week; 3 at home vs. Milwaukee to start, and 3 in Arizona to end the week. Brewers are leading the Central, and the D'Backs, even after making the World Series last year are struggling to begin this season residing in 4th in the NL West. A good week is 5-1, what I expect is 2-4, and a bad week is 0-6. Phillies are in first, Braves are 4.5 back, Mets are 12 back, Nats are 12.5 back, and Miami is 19 back.

Had a pretty good week. Won 2 of 3 against both the Brewers and D'Backs. Still a long ways away, but you have to crawl before you can walk. Road trip continues with 3 games in San Diego visiting old friend Luis Arraez, and than come home to face the reigning World Series champs in the Rangers. The Padres just lost a home series to the Yankees but have played to their opponents level, while the Rangers just recently ended a 6 game losing streak. A good week is 2-4, what I expect is 2-4, and a bad week is 1-5. Phillies are in first, Braves are 6 back, Nats are 13.5 back, Mets are 15 back, and Miami is 19 back.

Just about what I expected. Won the final game of the Padres series, and the first game of the Rangers series, but lost the rest for a 2-4 week. A short 5 game week all at home against AL opponents. The Sunshine state showdown with the Rays starts on Tuesday and than 3 games against the Guardians. Rays are not having a good year currently tied with the Blue Jays for last in the AL East having lost 9 of their last 13 games as the injury bug has hit them fast and often especially in the rotation this year. The Guardians meanwhile have been the opposite. Despite losing ace Shane Bieber after his second start of the season new manager Stephen Vogt has them trugging along at 39-20 with the majors 3rd best record; only the Phillies & Yankees have better records than Cleveland does. A good week is 4-1, what I expect is 2-3, and a bad week is 0-5. Phillies are in first, Braves are 7 back, Nats are 13.5 back, Mets are 17 back, and Miami is 20.5 back.
