Hello there,

I am planning to buy a nice SUV hopefully not exceeding 75k. Can you please suggest what SUVs should I consider? My wish list includes 1) luxury car 2) Reliable 3) Reasonable maintenance costs 4) Resale value 5) Longevity with minimal issues and 6) good for long drives if possible. I am looking for a 5-seater mid size SUV.

Lexus or Toyota. Buying Toyota will save you a few bucks.

Volvo XC60. Still offers the ICE if you want it. Test drive it...you'll buy it.

You won’t fit 5 in it. Cayenne, but that’s out of price range if buying new.

I saw a new Toyota Sequoia yesterday , I liked it, worth looking at.

We had an Acura MDX for almost 10 years until the transmission crapped out. No problems with it except the transmission, which Honda always seems to have issues with. Very comfortable, good handling, good for road trips. Can get it with all-wheel drive if you need it. They use a different transmission now, maybe it's more reliable but who knows. I'd probably buy another one.

Thank you everyone. I am surprised why no one has mentioned OOO. And also, what are your thoughts about BMW 5 Series XE5?

Used LX. I'd go with a '15 to avoid the bucktooth although that's pretty old. If you like the bucktooth look, a '21 or so would fit nicely in the price range.

I love my Yukon. It doesn't count as mid-size but it is the most comfortable car to take a long road trip in. You could buy a really nice used one for $70,000. Or a new one if you didn't want all the bells and whistles.
