it sounds interesting. no set teams, drivers draw for their cars, and then draw for their crew chief. i am betting the rest of the teams will be assigned by the sanctioning body itself, or perhaps picked by the driver and crew chief? or perhaps teh races will be short enough to not need pit stops. in fact a pit stop on a half mile track would kill any chance of winning a short race.

I think it'd be cool if in addition to name drivers they included a few drivers from some of the better 'bull ring' series in the country. I believe there are some 'unknowns' who can compete with anyone but for whatever reasons never get a 'big series' seat.

I believe they are holding a few cars for a rotating roster for just that Burdell. To help some of those local guys get noticed.
i was pretty ecited about this when announced , but as it is starting to come together, it is looking pretty weak... driver line up ... yaaaawn. Wheres Kenny Schrader, some of the young guys Like Bubba Pollard ? Then when you see the broadcast crew that they have assembled.... unbearable. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/mot...Bnk?li=BBnbfcL
Little Hailie Deegan finished second to Tony Stewart in the second SRX race. She beat a lot of big names in racing. Michael Waltrip was actually up there pressuring Smoke as well.
This was actually kind of fun to watch , just mute Danica as the "analyst" and enjoy some saturday night short track racing.
Watched the SRX feature race from Eldora last evening and it was fun.
Still can't get used to that big wing on the cars, but that's a small detail. They put on a good show.
Would have liked to have heard from Bobby Labonte afterward. They kept saying he wasn't happy with Paul Tracy (can't blame him), but let him tell us his side.
