He’s also been on the Dale Jr download. Very open and entertaining.
I was disappointed in the Dale Jr download piece. Balough didn't really come across with the story too well and the guys didn't really bring it out of him with their interview questions.
I'd love to have someone walk Gary through the whole story and bring out the details. It was intriguing back in the day when it went down and it's still interesting today.

I can't remember where I saw it but I recently watched a documentary about him and some killer dirt-track modified he'd designed.
I guess I have no expectations of hard hitting journalism from Dale Jr.
Nah.. You'll get some inside stuff.. I did watch some of his one with Joe Gibbs and it was pretty fascinating the negotiations that were happening back when Junior left DEI. The things that were thrown at him, mainly by Dan Snyder. Part ownership of Johnny Rockets I think was in the mix.
Jimmy Spencer on there was pretty wild a few weeks back.. But, that's Jimmy.

The car you're most likely referring to, was a car that Kenny Weld and Gary collaborated on, with Gary driving it at the 1980 nationals, at Syracuse. Gary dominated the event, and the car was immediately outlawed.....

That sounds about right, it was known as the Batmobile. I just can't remember what channel I saw it on other than it was one I rarely watch, not any of the usual sports outlets, the name just caught my eye when I was looking thru the program guide.
