It is so sad for us oldtimers, I was born in Austin in 1941 and lived there untill 1984, all the "nice new buildings" were built over the small town charm that I remember. Too bad but it is lost forever to the New Austin that I don't know. The last time I was there in about 2000 I couldn't even find my way around.
