What great local photos! These pictures give you the real flavor of Austin, however you are missing the ever present homeless person panhandeling on every corner. LOL

Default Moving advice for dog lovers?

I am also thinking of moving to Austin early next year. But with a German Shepherd. Any advice to someone moving to Texas from Boston with a dog....greatly appreciated.

Howdy, I think your post will get more views and more responses if you move it to it's own thread or move it out of the photo thread. You can also search threads on this forum as many people have asked similar questions. Good luck with your move!

Cool thread, but you guys need some updated skyline shots to toss in here...I don't think most people out there realize how much your city has grown over the past three or five years and just how beautiful it's really become:

Define touristy. Few people take photos of stuff that is ugly or boring.

Although I'm sure many will claim Leslie is "touristy" too.

For NON-TOURISTY how about these?

Still not sure what Non-touristy means, but here are a few more photos of the Austin area that I consider non-traditional.
