That comment about Dawkins is not a good indication of being "legit". I did take the quiz and got a 90% and I know which question knocked me down to 90%.
Knowing which questions knocked you down is a pretty good indicator that you are. Answering it true to yourself guarantees it.

I got 96% 10 years ago. Today I'm getting 100%. I have no idea how I answered differently back then. I can't identify which question it might have been or how I've changed.
Interesting.

I don't put much stock in Dawkins as an authority, he has an opinion and apparently it is a popular one. I know we are more than the sum of our physical parts, but I also do not believe in any meddling or bipolar deity or that we are judged when we die, we judge ourselves and others every waking moment. Humanism has nothing to do with science or replacing religion with the belief in science, without understanding it.

From my perspective, Dawkins is just another person with his own opinions and viewpoints. I don't believe or not believe in god or Buddha because of some other "authority".

I was pointing out to you that you understood what it meant to be a humanist then you went and answered the question truthful to yourself instead of trying to give the answer that would increase your score. Just like a humanist.
I have zero faith in humanity, so it would be hard for me to be a humanist.
Charlie Chaplain once said, "Man as an individual is a genius. But men in the mass form the headless monster, a great, brutish idiot that goes where prodded." I agree with that assessment. We are herd animals ... we are profoundly uncomfortable when taking a lone stand and so are super vulnerable to groupthink. I fight it every day of my life.
