To suggest that people with lighter or pale skin, who colonizied all of Latin America, would not like, don't like, can't handle handle tropical climates is absurd. There was no reason for that poster to bring in people "with paler skin". It was a stupid idiotic low IQ comment.
There is a reason in Latin America whites gravitate more to cooler areas precisely where the climate isn’t tropical or at least not as hot and humid as is usually in the low lands. A similar reason why say Australia has such a high incidence of skin cancer and almost all of the affected aren’t Aboriginals. But hey, you are the genius here. Lol

Bro, if you go stay outside in the tropics and have pale white skin you'll likely burn and turn pink. Keep doing that and you'll get skin cancer in time. You will have to rely on sun blocking lotion but people who are native to the tropics don't really need that stuff and can walk around all natural without worrying too much about the sun.
People who colonized latin America were from the Mediterranean region and likely tanned better than Northern Europeans. Plus in the tropics, European made non-Europeans do all the field work while they stayed mostly indoors and covered up their bodies.
Having darker skin has its disadvantages too, you don't get enough vitamin D if you live North.

I suggested sun intensity, of the tropics, not heat. The sun burns more near the equator. I don't believe a pale person would have any issue in an indoor sauna or some hot European summer but if they go near the equator without proper protection, yeah, that won't be nice for them.
