"A new HBO series set in the year 1882 is gearing up to film in downtown Troy, with some of Vic Christopher's buildings potentially serving as a backdrop.
Location scouts for "The Gilded Age" have been visiting Troy over the past few weeks, Christopher said. The series comes from "Downton Abbey" producer Julian Fellowes and will star Christine Baranski, Amanda Peet, Cynthia Nixon and Morgan Spector."
