This is another example of the type of development I was thinking of when referring to the potential development near the new Bills stadium in the Buffalo forum.
As the renderings illustrate, you could literally split the actual building with a Main Street type of road, with a mixed use of retail at the bottom and housing and/or offices above as a self contained village that has connecting roads to Route 31, Morgan Road and perhaps Verplank Road(if allowed).
In terms of the bolded and for those not familiar with the area, Shopping Town is in DeWitt/the Jamesville-DeWitt SD just east of the city. Given that it is a town within a very good, relative diverse suburban school district with higher incomes(43.3% of households make 6 figures, as of 2022 5 year US Census data), it may be a development to keep an eye on.
This is another example of a prime property that could be turned into a live/work/play development. Plus, it is in close proximity/access to Syracuse University/University Hill(inc. multiple hospitals) and Le Moyne College. So, it could appeal to those that work at those institutions/hospitals, as well as other nearby employers.
