Just want to get some ideas here.

I remember the sunsets at 5? Maybe 4 PM, it seemed? , in the winter. Going to Destiny to see a movie, with empty parking lots, or going to Planet Fitness in East Syracuse, to pass the time.

Thanks.

Check the event rundown in the forum for ideas, as it is to let people know what is going on in the city/area.

Turning Stone Casino is nice place to hang out

Syracuse is building an aquarium in the Inner Harbor

Can go skiing at Song Mountain, Greek Peak or Labrador.

District East should be a nice place after it is built where Shoppingtown Mall was located and same with what is replacing Great Northern Mall

Can go to an indoor rock climbing gym

Ice Skating downtown or at Cicero Twin Rinks

Can go see the Syracuse symphony, theater and opera

Comedy Club

Armory Square downtown

Sports bar and play pool or other games

Dave and Busters in Destiny

New York State Fairgrounds has events during the winter like a garden show or boat show

Go hiking at one of the local county parks like Beaver Lake Nature Center

You also have Syracuse University, LeMoyne College, even Colgate and other Division 1 college sporting events. Crunch Hockey games at the War Memorial are another option.

You also have live music venues around the city/area.

You have live professional theater at Syracuse Stage and other performances at other companies/theaters in the area.

You have multiple museums/galleries that have events or displays.

There are also ice rinks at Sunnycrest and Meacham Parks in the city, as well as the Lysander Rink in Radisson.

If you are into casinos, you also have Point Place in Bridgeport and Yellow Brick road in Chittenango. Del Lago is minutes away going west on the Thruway.

You have lectures/speakers at many of the local colleges/universities.

You have an annual Winter Fest, which runs for a couple of weeks.

Excellent list. Tully's for sporting events is always fun with some chicken tenders. Best tenders East of the Mississippi.
