To the tax payers who are footing part of the bill. There is a government hand out involved here. This is a Rhode Island thing, pay bad property owners who neglect their property and have no interest in a thriving downtown, tax breaks as their property decays and finally lasso in even more government funds to rehab their neglected property. Corporate welfare at its best.

I can't say I disagree with much of anything in this post. The building should have been taken by eminent domain years ago when it was clear the owner was unable (or unwilling) to rehab it.

Rhode Island can't be much fun for you. Did you do any research before moving?
