How Madison for college graduates, job market, meeting new people ? It one of top 5 places looking to move to near future it seem affordable.

Also, Madison is politically more lopsided and extreme than Milwaukee.

Historically, depending on your degree - Madison is overloaded with highly educated people who cannot find work in their degree area. Healthcare and government are the prime employment drivers.

Strip away the university and state government - and Madison is just a cow town.

The Bar scene is OK…… but who wants to waste their life away in a bar?

Not wasting away at bar it just sometimes want to go out and cow town ?? What the best neighborhoods you think is for newcomers coming from CT the east coast ? The budget is max at $1,600

I don’t know what the rents are - it’s been awhile - but living on the isthmus - near east and near west side - will keep you close to the “action”.
