Glad to see the apartment project moving forward. Hopefully this will get the ball rolling on the retail and hotel component. Fingers crossed!

Lots of "I'm trying" and "I hope to," but very little in the way of actual plans outside of an Epperly Tire, gas station, and convenience store which isn't exactly interesting, exciting, or "next level."

Ha! Good comment!

Is there still plans to build a shopping center along the river?

Exactly! The real estate process is extremely slow. Doing your due diligence is an extremely long process, trust I do it for a living. Contracts, financing, etc take years sometimes on multi-million dollar projects. 2014 is going to be huge for the metro.

You keep saying that 2014 is going to be huge. What do you know for sure us coming out of he ground this year beside restaurants? Old town will not have the retail portion complete this year and there's no telling what Adams will start on the columbus park Crossing expansion. If you have some inside info please share. So far I see this year going the same as the last. We really need some new jobs coming in.

I will announce as I find out. As for those retail areas, I am confident that tenants will be announced this year. Construction might start but probably won't be finished. Just keep watching.

Anyone know any new updates or rumors on this? I've seen a sign go up for it along the highway in the past year but no construction or clearing started yet. Someone a while back mentioned Cabella's was rumored for the site so that would go along with the rumored sporting goods store.
