I read it a while back. I don't know what the big hype is all about. IMO, it was okay, but I didn't finish it and think, wow, what a great book.

The book was a good read, and captured me completely. Despite it not being exact, I was also completely taken in with the recent Netflix mini-series. Perhaps it helped that it'd been a few years since I read the book. That said, I'm not a purist when it comes to books-made-into-movies. I usually enjoy seeing the creation (so long as they don't change the virtues or a personality of a particular character). If I do recall parts left out, then my memory from the book fills it in which is why I must always read the book first.
