That's a pretty nice house for the price. I'm guessing the realtor priced it low looking for bids.

https://www.redfin.com/MA/Marshfield.../home/16390174

$195k (or 30.7%) above asking, and I think that's actually reasonable. This house was priced so low that it was borderline ridiculous. 2.2 acres, lovely house and property, well-kept (contractor owned it). I went to this open house and it was bananaland with so many cars showing up to see it. Felt like 2021 all over again.

It's on a solid double yellow road (albeit set back) and doesn't look like it even has a paved driveway. That might be a pain to deal with in the winter. I don't know...nice house but doesn't strike me as $830K....I'd rate it as a $600K house.

Also, Redfin usually adjusts post closing to reflect an estimate closer to the sold price. The estimate on redfin doesn't even have it in the $800's! Makes me wonder if the buyer grossly overbid list out of desperation and they don't care b/c they plan on staying a very long time and/or paid cash?

It was sold today. The 659k Redfin Estimate may change in the next few days.

It's a good price for that house to those buyers. You? Maybe not.
