A very good season, indeed. My older son works at U of Iowa Hospital and is crazy about the Hawkeyes.

A nice win to cap off the season. It just goes to show how tough the Big Ten is. USC just didn't know how to respond to the Big Ten power game.

Hawkeyes lose their 2020 opener to Purdue. Close game, and I thought Iowa's QB (Petras) had a nice debut, very strong arm. Hawkeyes ran well, but a late fumble set up Purdue's 4th quarter comeback. Entertaining game tho -

11/13- Hawkeyes get to .500 with a 35-7 win over Minnesota. Iowa's O-line and running backs dominate the game..

The Gophers have some real defensive issues. They were the worst defense in the conference, especially against the rush, before this game and they sure as heck solidified their position. A high school running back could have averaged 4 yards per carry with the push the Hawkeye O-Line had on Minnesota.

Hawkeyes have crept in to the top 25.. got their 4th consecutive win (against Nebraska) yesterday. Nebraska was in striking distance late, but Iowa played swarming, hard-hitting D in their last sequence.. There was also a late, knuckle-ball field goal miss from Iowa that could've sealed their win slightly earlier.. awkward looking kick that clunked the crossbar.
