I know the games over and cant be overturned but damn!
Refs must have had money on Minnesota because it went from a Iowa win to a Iowa loss within a minute!
My feelings exactly. They must have had money on the game. To any intelligent person, you know damn well that wasn't a fair catch call. Those refs would almost be safer in Gaza than Kinnick Stadium after blowing that call. They probably left the stadium dressed in drag.

Iowa's nonstop and downright stellar production of standout OLs and TEs under Ferentz as well as the late Hayden Fry for over 40 years is an exceptional tradition that VERY few other schools can match.

8-2!

The offense was better today. Scored a couple of touchdowns finally. The defense was amazing as always.

should be ranked higher next week, this week they were ranked #22

Yeah.. but they've been dogged all season because of low scoring. But they've got where they wanted, Big Ten championship game.
I'll be rooting for 'em next week.

Citrus Bowl loss was brutal.

As I was watching it, I felt like this squad was the most unbalanced college football team I've ever seen. I looked at Teamrankings site, and Iowa has a top 5 defense in several categories and literally has the weakest offense in some opposing categories. It really was a wild & disappointing contrast this season.
But I don't think Iowa deserved so much fundamental criticism for their style (a 10-4 season), they just couldn't execute on offense. Curious how junior Ferentz leaving could improve things going forward (?)

yeah it sucked watching them lose.
Cade McNamara getting hurt didn't help too, wonder how they would have done with him healthy all year.
Seems like Ferentz not coming back is because the QB got hurt and had to go all season with a backup qb who wasn't that good.

Can't wait for next season now, hopefully, the defense is still good next season but Tennesee showed the world Iowa's defense isn't that great. Plus DeJean getting hurt and the All receiver getting hurt. Iowa did pretty well with the injuries.
