Oh heck yes, it's my very first choice.

Makes sense. I think you would be very happy there based on your daughter’s location and your laundry list of amenities you were looking for in a place to live. Should be lots of properties in your price range….good luck in your search.

I suggest Lebanon and surrounding areas too. I wouldn't go as far as Dayton or Cinci. We have friends that loved Mason.

I think you'll be happier if you live closer to your granddaughter. How exciting!

Well, I put in my notice at work so things are getting real! I also contacted my realtor locally to come out and give me advice and eventually list the house.

I lived in Franklin for a few years as a kid. Okay, it was >60 years ago, so never mind.

Best wishes for you on your relocation.

And Merry Christmas!

Don’t forget there are a few areas nearby Cincinnati in Indiana that are great real estate values, Hidden Valley and Bright. Property taxes are very low as everything in Indiana is capped at 1% of assessed value if you file for the homestead exemption which is very easy to do with the county.

Is that 1% really true? My property taxes just went up 100% in Kenton county, ky.
