I think he was a flawed man. He said a lot of things (MJF) that were particularly hurtful just because they were campaigning for a Democrat. Though I am conservative I am cringing at Fox's portrayal of him like he was a god. He, like all humans, was flawed. He did good things but he also did and said many hurtful things that were totally unnecessary. I still didn't wish him this awful death.

Life is too short to waste time listening to that bag of hate.

I don't wish a horrible death on anyone, either.

I wish peace for his family.

However, I think the world is a better place without his hateful and divisive voice.

A "flawed man" is rather kind, in the opinion of many. He was needlessly cruel and nasty, and his extreme opinions and vitriolic voice caused division in many families.
I try to be kind and speaking ill of the dead does me no good. I didn't like his show or him and rarely listened to it.

Some people frankly leave the world worse off than before they came along, through their words and actions. That's his legacy. Death by cancer doesn't change the trail and wake of what he's left behind. His life is how he'll be remembered, not his death.

As Rush used to say, "Assumed room temperature..."

I've posted similar comments in the politics section, but I'll do it here as well.

Any Mount Rushmore of radio talent, has Rush Limbaugh on it. And I was never a big listener. Probably didn't tune in for the past 5 years at all. Program bored me and too much hate. But this guy was born to do radio.

I always found Mark Levin or Michael Savage to be a better listen.
