The video is very hard to watch. What I’d like to know is why don’t the victims in such assault cases file charges? Why did this video sit for so many years before being released by CNN? In the case of famous celebrities attacking women violently, is there a possibility of a fear of retribution such as damaging videos or photos the celebrity has of the victim or threats of ending their career or even their life? What makes the video disturbing to me, more than the violence, is the casual manner in which he carries out the attack as if this is so common to him that he may have engaged in such behavior often and always protected his money and lawyers.

Jezzus H. I have not seen this.

Diddy is done. Kicked her twice on the ground not even defending herself. Over what?!

I don't know much about her, Cassie, the victim.

Cassie claimed in a since-settled lawsuit that Diddy had paid the same hotel $50,000 for the footage after the attack.
That may explain why it took so long for this vid to surface.

Two days later, the pair appeared on the red carpet holding hands for the premiere of The Perfect Match.
They settled out of court in November for an undisclosed amount.
nah-uh,...should have got a restraining order immediately and sent him to jail.

This is why women would rather be in the woods with a bear than a strange man. Even someone with so many eyes on them in public is willing to abuse, in public. Where if other men happen to witness/video, they can just be bought. How many times does that just work before one actually leaks to the public?

From the article...

Cassie sued Combs last year alleging rape and a range of other offenses. They settled out of court in November for an undisclosed amount.

Part of the problem.

Many people complain about Combs being protected. Settling out of court protects him as well. Throw money at the problem, and it often goes away.

Probably not. She seems like the type to give the beatings.
I don't think she is the timid & weak kinda girl.

That’s just silly IMO. Firstly, Diddy wasn't a “strange man” to this woman, but like every domestic violence case knew the woman. Odds are being along with a random grown bear in the middle of the woods ain’t turning out in a woman being alive.
