Vernon Martin is very professional and so is his staff including the receptionist and shampoo girl.
They take you as soon as you walk in the door. There is no waiting. They do not overbook. You don't have to spend all day at the salon because Vernon and the other stylists get you in and out within one hour! It was very unexpected. I booked another appointment already.
The prices are very reasonable. I just wish they offered mani-pedis.
The salon is centrally located in the District. It is on a major thoroughfare, Rhode Island Avenue, just blocks from the metro and a bus stops right in front of their door. If you drive, they even have FREE off-street parking which is a major plus in the District. Because giving out parking tickets is one of the strategies the District uses to make money and they are very very very efficient at doing so.
