FOOD CONTACT SURFACES - SOILED Observation: Several utensils stored in drawers are visibly soiled with food debri (whip, can opener, tongs, etc). Garbage container lids are being stored on top of food contact tissue paper.
Correction: Maintain food contact surfaces in a clean condition. Tools were removed and set aside for proper re-cleaning or disposal. Store garbage container lids away from food areas. Correct By: 19-Feb-2015
USING A HANDWASHING SINK - ACCESSIBLE (corrected on site) (repeated violation) Observation: Handwashing sink observed to be unaccessable due to a dish drying rack covering the basin and handsoap positioned at another sink during the inspection making it unavailable for proper handwashing.
Correction: Keep handwashing sink free of obstructions and in working condition at all times to allow for frequent handwashing. Drying dishes were removed from handwash sink. Drying rack can sit on counter. Soap was moved to the correct sink for use.
FOOD CONTAMINATION PREVENTED FROM PREMISE - OFF THE FLOOR Observation: Tea, coffee, and soup are stored on the floor in the continental breakfast storage area.
Correction: Store all food items 6 inches above and off of the floor. Correct By: 19-Feb-2015
