    Observation: Various food items prepared in private homes were present. Facility was having a pot luck at the time of inspection.
    Correction: Discard and remove all foods from unapproved sources. Foods shall be obtained from sources that comply with law.
  • Critical: PACKAGED AND UNPACKAGED FOOD - NESTING OR RAW ANIMAL FOODS STORED TOGETHER (corrected on site)
    Observation: Raw chicken was observed stored over ham in the Silver King reach in cooler.
    Correction: Store raw animal foods in order of decending hazard to prevent cross contamination. Separate raw animal food species from one another except when combined as ingredients. Chicken was moved below the ham during the inspection.

    Observation: Soap not available at food employee handwashing sink at bar.
    Correction: Provide hand soap at handwashing sink to facilitate proper handwashing. Correct By: 27-Jan-2016

    Observation: Food contact surface of shelving in the back storage area is made of wood and metal. In areas the metal is exposed and lightly corroding.
    Correction: Discard equipment and utensils that are not: corrosion resistant, durable, able to withstand repeated warewashing, smooth, easily cleaning, nonabsorbent, and resistant to pitting, scratching, scoring or decomposition. Correct By: 26-Feb-2016

    Observation: A 3 compartment sink is not provided in the manual warewashing operation. Some of the sinks are leaking.
    Correction: Provide a 3 compartment sink for manually washing, rinsing, and sanitizing equipment and utensils.

    Observation: Handwashing sink behind the bar is in need of repair or replacement..
