Observed employees wearing bracelets and rings while prepping food. Per McDonald's corporate policy, no excessive jewelry is allowed to be worn during work hours. Employees are only permitted to wear plain band rings and medical bracelets while prepping food.
Observed cleaned plastic holding pans being stacked on each other in storage while still wet. Employees must allow for equipment, utensils, and surfaces to air dry before stacking in storage.
Observed an employee use clean cup to dispense ice from ice machine and dump into a new cup, after which she placed the old cup back into the dispensing sleeve. This is considered re-use of a single-service article. The employee must discard the used cup after she has dispensed ice into it. The employee removed the cups from the dispensing rack during inspection.
Observed the following areas with no backflow prevention: soda lines drain, water heater drain, and water softener. Facility must provide air gaps for these units or another method of backflow prevention by 11/13/15.
Observed trays and sponges stored on top and inside of the handsink located in the dish room. Hand sinks must be accessible to employees at all times to ensure proper handwashing. Manager removed all items from the hand sink.
Observed a build up of debris on the floor of the walk-in freezer and in the corners of the grease containers. Clean as routinely as necessary.
Observed permit in frame on top of fry hot holding unit hidden behind salts and dispensing utensils. The permit must be placed in a conspicuous location visible to the public.
