There was no individual present with City of Philadelphia Food Safety Certificate. Suggested for additional person to become Certified.
- Food Storage Requirements & Prohibited Areas (46.321)
All food and food items are not stored at least 6 inches above the floor. Pots observed on the floor in food prep area. Bottled beverages observed on the floor in basement.
- Sanitization Requirements, Frequency and Methods (46.731)
Incorrect sanitizing methods. PIC stated that food contact surfaces are washed, sanitized, washed. Instructed PIC that the correct procedure is wash, rinse and sanitize. Will provide handouts.
- Handwashing Facility - Handwash Cleanser, Hand Drying, Signage, Handwash Aids or Devices Use Restriction (46.941(b)-(e))
-Inadequate handwashing facilities provided. Remove hand sanitizer and replace with handwashing soap. Instructed PIC to initiate immediate corrective action. -No sign or poster posted at the handwash sink in the food prep area to remind food employees to wash their hands.
- Repair & Cleaning Various Premises, Structures, Attachments & Fixtures (46.981(a)-(c)(g)(n))
-Clean to remove unnecessary items from the establishment, including defective equipment, to prevent the attraction of vermin. -Provide seperate location for personal items for proper storage to protect food and equipment from contamination. Personal items,including food and clothing stored throughout.
