The dining halls offer a variety of food but most of them are have the same mushy consistency. The specialty nights are good for pasta or tacos etc and the go-to is the salad bar and grilled chicken because it seems to be one of the only things that I know can be usually reliable. However, there are never many fruit and vegetable options and those that are offered are from a can. With all of the local farms and markets around, it would be nice to see healthy and fresh local foods prepared for our meals on a regular basis instead of bland pastas and rice and odd looking meat, except for special occasions.

This goes for most of the dining halls as well... but cleanliness and qualitiy of food seems to be a huge issue. Once in a while I can get a good meal; salads are usually a go to (quinoa and tuna salads always look great), but the majority of my meals are pretty unappetizing. Chinese food or dinner items are usually the foods with the biggest issues for me. They're always undercooked or flavor less. Fruit (like the apples and oranges, not the sliced fruit) is also almost always unappetizing. I got an apple from there the other day and it was completely brown inside. It almost baffles me that they even give that food out.
