Was asked to pull forward at the drivethrough, then had to wait for more than 10 minutes. After 12 minutes of no information, I decided to enter the store and ask for a refund (at this point I was late for work). The manager, Nick, first refused me a refund, and after I pushed, he went to a computer and refunded the wrong person. This seemed to make him mad because he began swearing at me, verbally abusing me. He asked me if I was going to bring the drink back (a medium sprite that they had handed me when I paid). I had already drank the sprite while I sat in the car, so I said this and said I can bring the cup in if he gives me a refund. He refused, again with foul language and abusive remarks. I asked if he was serious, refusing to refund me over the cost of a soda. I had not received my food, I was not informed that it would take more than 10 minutes of sitting and waiting, and so I again asked for a refund. Finally, he went to the cash register and pulled out a partial refund, saying he wouldn't refund the money of the drink.
Honestly, the end result is fine, I understand that I consumed the beverage and so therefore am not entitled to a refund, however the amount of vile language, verbal abuse, and disrespect that Nick showed for me is unacceptable.
