Added on Jul 24, 2014 1:19 PMDanny's Cocina is a family owned business, this restaurant has had its good times and hard times due to the economy. Which restaurant hasn't felt the pain of the economy but no matter what the service and food has and is always excellant. I work down the street and have been going to Dannys Cocina for about 7 years. I love the Carna Guisada Tacos made with fresh homemade tortilla. (I hate eating going to a mexican restaurant and they have plastic tortilla,yuk!!) I'm from West Texas and ever since I moved to San Antonio I was on a hunt to find someone that could make Carna Guisada like they do in WT. My boss is also a LONG time customer of DC, well he bought us tacos one morning and he got me a Carna Guisada and let me tell you I have been going there ever since....YUMMY!! During lent I love eating the cheese enchildas & the yummy rice. IF you are ever around the area please find time to eat at Danny's, you won't regret it!!Would you recommend DANNY'S COCINA MEXICANA to others? YesDave & Buster's Restaurants
