This place is in the middle of nowhere in regards to the Denver dining scene but is always packed. That speaks to the high quality of the sushi. I've eaten here 4 times, and I've never been disappointed. The decor is nice, the service is attentive, and the sushi is good.
They're known for their extensive and creative roll menu, but I'm a nigiri guy so I can't really comment too much on them other than to say my dining partners have never complained about anything they've ordered. I can attest that they serve fresh fish property cut on expertly cooked rice.
I would give them a 5 star rating for food except that one time I ordered dessert it was a big disappointment. The chocolate wontons weren't sweet enough and were undercooked (oil not hot enough perhaps?), and the fruit was under ripe (way too hard) and mostly tasteless.
Also, I like that when you pay by credit card they bring the card scanner to the table like they do in Europe or Canada - no chance of anybody stealing my credit card info.
