BOH monitoring inspection conducted on Tuesday December, 4th 2012
At the time of the inspection, it was noted that the walk in cooler was not holding TCS foods at or below 41F. After speaking with the PIC, Jake, it was determined that the day before the inspection (Dec 3rd, 2012) he noticed the cooler holding above 41F and called Ohio Heating 614-863-6666 to service the walk in cooler. It was discovered that the condenser was frozen and the technician from Ohio Heating instructed Jake to turn the condenser off and leave the fan running. When the inspector showed up at the facility on December 4th at 11:00am the walk in cooler was holding at 59F.
All food on the steam table was made from food in the reach in cooler that was holding at 40F. Mike Thiel and Ann Tomlinson were called for further instruction. A follow up date was set for the next day, December 5th 2012 at which time all critical violations must be corrected and the walk in cooler must be serviced to ensure it is working properly and able to maintain an internal temperature of 41F or below.

At the time of the follow up inspection, all critical violations have been corrected. Cooler has not been fixed completely but there was no TCS foods in it at the time.
