As most of you know Carl Gullick has resigned from the SC House of Representatives. District 48 spans
areas in Fort Mill, Lake Wylie, Rock Hill and Tega Cay. Your vote counts in our local elections and
often the voter turnout is so low.

The primary will be held September 15, please mark your calendars and vote.

Republican Candidates:

Roger Costner of Fort Mill
Ralph Norman of Rock Hill
Sam Rhodes of Rock Hill

Democrat Candidates:

Patsy King-Reid of Fort Mill
Kathy Cantrell of Lake Wylie

Polls will be open 7:00 a.m to 7:00 p.m. September 15, 2009.

Agree. We have to start holding our representatives accountable. The only way to do that is to vote and then let them hear from you. South Carolina has some issues, so take time, read up and go vote

Your are right Sharpcarolina, the person that wins this election will complete Carl Gullick's term. Most primary elections such as this one has a very small voter turn-out.

This is an important election as every single vote counts and the person that wins will represent us, York County District 48, in Columbia and lives right here among us. LOL You can pick up the phone and give them a call or ring their doorbell .... with a 'hey I don't like what is going on here or a yes you are doing a good job!'

Please take the time to vote September 15.
