What time early morning is early enough to beat the traffic to the Queen City?

If I leave Tega Cay at 6:45am it's clear sailing to uptown in 25 minutes.

Ditto what Proud Father said, although over the past two weeks I've encountered a bit of traffic at Gold Hill/77 and up by the 485/77 merge. Normally those areas aren't congested until closer to 7:15 a.m. But here lately it's been even at 6:45 a.m.

Despite this, I can generally leave at 6:45 a.m. and be in uptown by 7:15 a.m.

Arrival needs to be 6:30 so we should be well ahead of the traffic. It seems to congest around Tyvola northbound at various times of day.

If you need to ARRIVE by 6:30 you'll have smooth sailing on that commute.
