My lot backs up to the railroad tracks. The area around the tracks is very overgrown. Every time go to the back of my property I have these new tree like weeds growing. They grow very quickly. It seems like it can grow about a foot a week. Some of these near the tracks must be 12-15 feet high. It looks like a tree, but the trunk is very skinny. The branches have long skinny leaves the entire lenght of the branch. Whatever it is they would take over my entire back yard if I let them.

Sumac. They will grow into large trees if left alone.
