Live in AL right now and am looking to move to WY. Got a job in Sheridan but am having trouble finding a place to live. Any suggestions?

Sheridan has a very tight housing market, as you know. The local paper is The Sheridan Press, and postings show up in it. It's a daily, with no Sunday edition. You almost have to get it right off the press to beat the competition, which might mean staying there in a hotel while looking. You don't note whether you are looking to rent or buy... if you could be more specific about your question, I might be able to help you more. I have ties there.

Thanks for the input Meg. We actually have found a place to live thanks in part to my new boss. Him and his wife seem really nice and helpful. I am looking forward to moving up there. I lived in Laramie for a year so have a bit of an idea how it will be. But from the pics I have seen Sheridan looks much nicer. We live in Alabama right now and hate it. I am originally from Dallas,TX and my wife is originally from Riverton, WY. We moved to AL for a job but after 6 months it fell through and we have been stuck here for an additional year and a half. If you haven't been here you wouldn't understand if you have then I'm sure you would relate to my misery. I have a 4 yr. old son and DO NOT want him to go to school here and am ready to settle for a while and I think Sheridan will be the place to do so.
