When I was a kid we go to Jackson in the winter and there be a few Ravens, now I have hundreds on the Ranch. Well till I get a couple dead ones , that the trappers have Poisoned down in Kemmerer or over in Idaho, the sick birds will fly this far and die. I put a baling twine around thier legs and tie them the the cross braces on my corral gates and a some that have the high cross brace in the meadow..... and the Ravens and Crows leave. Two years ago had a cow trump her new born calf the raven tracks on the snow , the snow was packed down with them . Must of been a dozen or so picking at the calf and the cow spinning and trying to get them away. Besides they bring alot of bugs in too.
