Think very hard about it before you do (move). I did it and don't regret it a bit. I never want to go back to CA. Yes the winters are harsh and the wind blows quite a bit in certain areas, but overall it's great.

A shot of one of the ridges on the east side of Alcova. My son and I have found many fossils in this area. Clam fossils abound, and we've found quite a few belemnites (extinct cephalopods related to squids and cuttlefish, Jurassic period) here, too.

These pictures are absolutely stunning and gorgeous. I currently live in Pennsylvania, and I'm looking to move to Wyoming within the next year or so. Hopefully sooner than later. The more I see and learn, the more I really think Wyoming is the place for me.
