Something I've seen a lot lately, not sure the reasons, if any...extra spaces around punctuation. like this:

It makes what are usually already disjointed rant-y posts that much more difficult to read.

Has the word fewer been dropped from the English language? I hear so many people saying less when they should use fewer.

YES! my local grade school's marquee says, "Strive for less than 5 absences"
I grit my teeth every time I go by. I think the topper is using "strive" instead of "try."
