the Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Israel, Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Birma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Nepal, Bhutan, Afghanistan, Mongolia, New Zealand etc. etc. etc.

The Philippines and Indonesia should be taken off this list. The rich folks in both nations tend to have no qualms about displaying the wealth they got even though the income gap between the rich and poor is very big!

I think it's pretty obvious that if people are at the high end stores shopping, they like high end things. If they didn't like them, that stuff wouldn't exist.
