Congratulations, best wishes, and good luck at your new job.

It's nice to see a new hire story like this instead of the..."I just graduated college with a B.S. in BS, and my 40-something co-workers are a bunch of slackers" stuff I've been reading around here lately!

As a 57 year old woman groundskeeper without bulging biceps and no car, I thought I was permanently washed up in the job market. I was pretty resigned to never having a decent job or paycheck ever again.

Sent off resume and online job application #10,675,206 last Friday. Was called in for an interview Wednesday morning. Offered the job Wednesday afternoon. After everything I've been through.....I just could_not_believe_it.

I have a signed job offer and start Monday. Kiss my @ss, miracles can happen. Because this is a miracle and the job is dreamy and it's all mine.

Keep the faith people, there is hope. Really.
Congratulations. Glad it's what you want, and YES, it's all YOURS. Hope you'll have a great celebration with friends after your first check. "First checK", sounds sweet, doesn't it?

Congratulations! You finally "landed" after two years of being "in transition." (Politically correct terms.)

Congratulations!! It's so nice to hear a success story, especially from someone who's been looking for two years (same as me). I wish you all the best and much success in your new job.
