So happy to see that all the liberals are now out of work. Maybe they will remember which party supports business the next time they vote. Nahhh, liberals are too stupid to realize that doing the same thing over and over simply won't bring a different result.

I've got a great job, and am doing well with my associations with conservative, productive business people.

Try working for once, instead of asking for hand out, bail out, support and socialism.

I'm not a vindictive person, but reading this forum makes me wish unemployment on an awful lot of people, just to bring them down off their high horses.

I probably should quit this place.

Sounds like you are trying to start a flame war by posting such hateful remarks.

Got news for ya, Checking Out; THIS Liberal busts his butt 55-60 hours a week humping groceries around three Midwestern states. The (mostly) Conservative trucking executives make big bucks but think it's perfectly OK to cheat their drivers out of honest wages by such chicanery as "pay by the (discounted by about 10%) mile" and "the first two hours waiting at the dock are free" and they're happy to let you sit on the side of the road unpaid while you guard their cheap freight and try to fix the problem with no tools (not that you can fix much of anything on a modern truck without complicated test equipment and specialized tools...)

Yeah, I've listened to the talk shows where contractors have called in whining about how "I can't get Americans to work for me" Well, no, maybe some of us are getting tired of worked until our health is gone then cast aside without benefits so you can hire some cheap foreign labor. And, yes, we understand how tough it is to run a small business. But maybe if you didn't expect to get the maximum amount of work out of us with the absolute minimum, starvation wages. Most employers have taken away things like 401(K) match, holiday pay and anything else they can get away with and still keep "meat in the seat".

Capitalism is the greatest system in the world. But Americans have pretty much lost their consience. It's all about "How can I screw the next guy to make a few more bucks". I'm always amazed at the people that badmouth the poor for taking welfare (I'm not fond of it, either, FWIW. as long is one is able to work) but rationalize having all kinds of government subsidies and other money thrown at them as being "OK". Gimme a break...

Yeah, Checking Out, I took the bait. I probably shoulda just moved on. But it felt good to respond to such a kneejerk post.
