I spent most of my life so far going to college in a difficult subject(physics) and working. At 24 fast approaching 25, I'm financially secure. I don't need to work anymore. But alas, it's getting boring.
I want to start a career. A path, something to "beat."(I know, it's petty. It's what drives me, and I can't even pretend to deny it, so I'll just be out with it). Finance, the markets, are not palatable. Plainly, I'm not that great at playing anymore, and it's definitely not fun. I want something else, but I have absolutely no idea where to start.
I have taken all the aptitude tests, but nothing jumps out, or even seems reasonable. I can only envision things I would hate to do and things I would hate to do slightly less.
I was in a weird situation early on in life in that I was good at something that I had no interest in, but it paid. As a result, this is the first time I have had to come face-to-face with the decision most people make earlier on in life.
How did you ultimately find your professional path? I know my day-to-day is boring and the interaction/challenge is null, and I need to fill the void.
There are tests you can take, answer lots of questions, and suggestions for careers are delivered.
What you rather do, live where in a location that you really enjoy and have an occupation that is acceptable but not idea? Or, have an ideal occupation and "settle" for a location?
