i called for extra for any local movie in buffalo area. the person in williamsville office was very snobbish and very rude. my question was very simple and direct "were they interested in hiring any afro-americans for extras, no yes or maybe or even no,just fill out form on-line. i felt as though i may not want to solict any personal info without knowing if i have some incentive to do so. and i did read the forum questions and comments from others . i do feel maybe its not so in depth for actors only models . generally focus would not be to my career advancement and experience to go throug this process with excell. a very big question mark over my head about their ethics,methods and legimacy.

first off, leave the race out of the question, secondly get thicker skin if you plan on a career in theatre/ acting.

I ve been to one of the modelling agencies called wmtny in new york and they duped me out of money and asked me to pay more if i want to go ahead...they clicked my pictures and refused to give it to me.....i guess they are cheats and the way they function shows they are just cheating people all around.

First off, You do not get any guarantee's in this industry...Anyone who thinks they get work over night are living in La La Land....And you do need materials to get yourself noticed

Very smart. Even without the incentive to do so, I'd be hesitant to send personal info. I've seen some posters here say they would just avoid that company rather than fill out an online form that's too personal.
