Hi. Unpaid furlough days seem to be the new fad in cutting pay.

I'm interested in comparing the number of furlough days other people are getting to see if this is really a trend nationwide and if it is getting better or worse.

I work for a municipal government and will have taken 12 unpaid furlough days by the end of this year and have been told to expect 24-27 furlough days in 2010 (12 are going to be unpaid holidays, e.g., Christmas, Labor Day,etc.)

If you are getting unpaid furlough days, how many are you getting?

Is the number going up or down?
