I refused to take a cut because I know what I bring to the table. No one should ever accept lower money unless it's a SLIGHT cut but even then still figure out how to get the salary you were making before you left your last job.
Sounds like a bunch of anonymous keyboard bravado, but if your employer says pay cut, and you refuse, I bet you will end up with a 100% pay cut, and we will have to suffer through another of your job searches.

a friend of mine took a paycut in july of 2006 and has yet to be brought back up to what he was making. Paycut means-"THIS IS YOUR NEW SALARY"
