How often do we see someone gather up their life savings, borrow tons of money to add to that pile, then take that entire pile of money and put it on a number on the roulette table in Las Vegas?
Not a good idea. In fact, if someone did that, we would think they were doing something horrifically stupid. They're taking a tremendous risk with very little chance of payoff with an overwhelming percentage of bankruptcy.
This is what happens today in the career job market.
Except for sales and Mcjobs, there are virtually no career jobs that require no experience.
Someone puts their life savings into a college degree, borrows money, and then places their entire ability to earn a living on trying to find that ONE EMPLOYER out of tens of thousands - that would give them a chance without any work experience.
So we have people tell graduates and career changers "Just keep betting! You'll hit the win soon enough" Like here.
100% luck. Zero skill.
I disagree with this mentality.
Employers should NOT demand work experience for an entry level job. Entry level means the bottom rung of the corporate ladder where people are starting off their careers.
