I'm 36 now. My hairline has gone back since I was at least 22 per some old pics I recently saw. I tried to hang on to it for years before cutting it closer, and eventually going skinhead during the COVID lockdowns.
I'm not "sensitive" about it, but I would also be ticked if someone talked to me about my lack of hair in the workplace. It's just totally inappropriate.
I've lost probably 45% of hair, now have the "Friar Tuck" patch and have had people make jokes about how shiny it is, being a chrome dome and such.
Never bothered me. But then I usually ignored slights and then insults. It's more fun to watch them try and insult someone who doesn't care
I shave mine voluntarily rather than the Friar Tuck. Not casting any aspersions, some are fonder of their hair than others. I'm in the latter category. A mess my whole life as far as I'm concerned so shaved weekly with the Pitbull (electric razor) and good riddance. I have a whole lot of don't-give-a-(whoop) going on, though, in my day-to-day. It's liberating, the 'not caring' thing.
I don't feel too terribly harassed, in the UK or otherwise, for voluntarily shaving my head. Hmm. It's a little too sensitive for me, we're well down the so-called slippery slope ('We' being the West).
