This person moved into a different role within our organization it was apparent within the first month she was in over her head. Her Department and her role work in unison with my department and my role. Her Boss is worthless doesn’t train and shows no respect for our department. So I’ve trained some…and it has been a slow learning curve over a year now. The organization’s solution Within six months they hire someone else that she can manage and divide her work up with and essentially screw up.

So now she’s making some bigger mistakes this latest mistake one of my direct reports made a mistake as well with the project and she goes into our “what the H happened meeting” diverts attention on him.

I’ve been blessed fortunate I guess I’ve dealt with lazy…I’ve dealt with rude…but how do you all deal with incompetence and passive aggressive people that show accountability by throwing people under the bus.
Easy. You call them out on it in front of everyone in the meeting room. End of problem.

But, she's so scattered, that even the most miniscule task becomes undone, due to her ADHD. I'm dealing with hr by giving 5 weeks notice. (My job is imperative to the safety/wellbeing of our residents.) I don't want any residents to die, due to my leaving abruptly and causing an interval with no care.

The brass was very surprised, and took notice...
So no amount of training can fix this issue. It is a personal issue…but appears to be impacting every aspect of life…she takes meds she does better.

Such a touchy subject…friend or family member type discussion.

Meanwhile it trickles over to your life. Good that you have the leverage. I think I have leverage as well. I like my position - I want to stay but I’ve started looking elsewhere.

Our culture like I said passive don’t rock the boat I’ve been there seven years I’ve yet to be in a meeting where a strong difference of opinion or argument was had and I see poor work behavior everywhere and it’s just swept under the rug and avoided.

Don’t rock the boat type solutions
